Kenya has been named the sixth most beautiful country in the world, trailing Tanzania by two places.

According to www.money.co.uk Natural Beauty Report, Tanzania received a score of 6.98 out of ten for natural beauty, while Kenya received a score of 6.7.

The report looked at the number of natural features per 100,000 square kilometers, such as volcanoes, coral reefs, tropical rainforests, and glaciers.

Kenya has eight volcanoes, five ultra-prominent mountains, 630 square kilometers of coral reefs, 411 total protected areas, 536 kilometers of coastline, 170,887 square kilometers of rainforest, and 28 glaciers.

Tanzania, on the other hand, has three volcanoes, eleven prominent mountains, 3,580 square kilometers of coral reefs, 836 protected areas in total, 1,424 kilometers of coastline, 387,944 square kilometers of rainforest, and 75 glaciers.

Indonesia took the first place with a ranking of 7.77, followed by New Zealand (7.27), Colombia (7.16), Tanzania (6.98), Mexico (6.96), and Kenya, which finished sixth with a ranking of 6.7.

France, the United States of America, Japan, and Australia were ranked eighth, twelfth, and fourteenth, respectively.

The United Kingdom did not make the top 50 list.

According to a recent World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) report, it is also the second most innovative country in Africa and the 85th most innovative country in the world.

Tanzania finished third on the continent and 90th overall, securing its place in the top 100. Kenya has been the continent’s top performer for 11 years in a row. Africa has emerged as the continent with the highest number of outperforming economies in terms of innovation.
