UDA party has been on the receiving end with claims of tokens not reaching the intended paid crowds and hecklers.

Either way, UDA party needs to do some house cleaning as part of their damage control strategy.

In Laikipia, a woman is accusing one of UDA Party MP aspirant, Cate Waruguru of assault.

Cate Waruguru is accused of attacking a resident in Laikipia West during Deputy President William Ruto’s recent visit.

It’s worth noting that the woman was allegedly assaulted by UDA’s foot soldier, Cate Waruguru, while an enraged crowd booed William Ruto.

As a result, we believe Cate became overly emotional and pounced on this helpless woman with kicks and blows.

The Deputy President on his part became enraged and tried to chase away the locals who were booing the UDA party campaign team.

Eventually he endorsed Azimio la Umoja Senator Maina Njenga for the top seat at the senate.

Mtanipatia senator ambaye anajua mambo ya bottom up? Kwa hivyo Maina Njenga akuje UDA ama afanye nini? (Will you give me a senator who understands the bottom-up approach? Should Maina Njenga be the UDA candidate?)

Police were piecing together evidence and reviewing the occurrence of the incident reported to have occurred at Sipili trading centre.

According to Kirima Sub-County Police Commander Donald Sailor, a woman named Lucy Wairimu Kariuki, 28, filed a complaint with the police at Sipili Police Station, alleging that UDA party aspirant, Cate Waruguru assaulted her.

Despite the fact that the police chief stated that no decision had been made on the matter, he stated that Ms Waruguru would be summoned to give a statement to the police so that investigations could begin.

“On Thursday, the lady filed a police report alleging that she had been arrested by the MP. Investigations will be launched in order to determine what really happened “Mr Sailor stated.

Ms Kariuki, when contacted, said the lawmaker should be arrested because she had physically assaulted and verbally abused her for allegedly holding a different political opinion.

Seeking Justice

Ms Kariuki believes that the UDA Party foot soldier should be arrested because she assaulted and verbally abused her for allegedly having a different political opinion.

She stated that the attack happened when the UDA Laikipia East MP aspirant was booed by residents during the DP’s stopover in Rumuruti town.

In the next stopover at Sipili, the lawmaker grabbed my hand and with the help of youths who had accompanied her led me to her vehicle. That is where she strangled me and assaulted me.

Ms Kariuki has since requested that security officers ensure that she gets justice.

Politicians are known to use their great wealth and influence to compromise investigations. I am pleading with those investigating the matter to ensure that justice is served to me.
