Dp Is Riding A Dead Horse – The Jubilee Party

DP William Ruto and company should request guidance from the Jubilee party leader before they attempt to report to the political party registrar or the DCI.

Facts that they need to acknowledge

They were not invited to a NEC meeting. That does not imply that the meeting never took place and/or lacked the requisite threshold or quorum to conduct business.

He solely destroyed his house. The owners of Jubilee party now want to renovate their house. They want to add in more rooms among them ODM, KANU, ANC and Wiper.

Jubilee party has got only one center of power. One party leader the rest are busy bodies.

Only the party leader is expected to provide guidance and/or make decisions. The COVID-19 alert, however, can not enable the continuity of consultative forums.

Jubilee party owners consent is crucial. No decision is arrived at in the Jubilee party Headquarters without that consent/The owner’s word is final.

Political parties are elections winning vehicles. Once they win they become null and void.

Jubilee is Muthamaki’s party and since party elections cannot happen because of COVID-19 scare and BBI. The Jubilee party leader has or must find a way to change leadership.

You are fighting a losing battle!

Members earned government employment hence the need to replace them.

The continued stay in office by Former secretary general Veronica Maina, Fatuma Shukri and Pamela Mutua would be unconstitutional.

All these people have left because they got some jobs in government which conflict with their positions as officials of the party.

Lucy Macharia, Prof Marete Marangu, Walter Nyambati, Jane Nampaso and James Waweru are untainted, graft free, loyal and fit for the job.

Most importantly the owners of the party who settled on them are not mad or intellectually challenged.

Dp William Ruto and all others who believe that the shift of membership of the National Management Committee (NMC) is unconstitutional, unethical and contradictory to the principles of the party, as Ruto put it, will need to do the following;

Options left for Dp

The DP should seek clarification from the owner of the party. He should abstain from writing again to the the registrar of political parties or the DCI. That’s an act in futility.

Dp can forward complaints to the registrar of political parties formally and/or wait for 21 days or more for the travel ban to be lifted. His team will then come in just to present their claim. Right now the Courts, Tuju and the political party registrar are operating from home.

The Registrar of Political Parties, who I assume works at home in a Gazette notice on Friday, made it loud and clear.

The Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu published the plan of the party to make the adjustments and welcomed members of the public, if any, to send their submissions on the replacements.

The letter stated as follows;

In exercise of the power conferred by Section 20 (1) (c) of the Political Parties Act, 2011, the Registrar of Political Parties gives notice that Jubilee Party intends to change its leadership,” the notice read. Any person with written submission concerning the intended change by the political party shall, within seven days from the date herein, deposit with the registrar of political parties.”
