Senator Isaac Mwaura interacting with persons with disability (PWDs ) who he has successful secured an opportunity for a government paid internship program under Public service commission (PSC).

The Senator was able to negotiate for this opportunity despite the deadline for application having lapsed.

Having worked in the disability sector for the last 8 years, he understands how difficult it is for Persons Living With Disability to secure job opportunities due discrimination and stigmatization.

The senator took this opportunity to congratulate, encourage and request them to observe high standard of work ethics. He insist that they need to be good ambassadors and carry a good imagine for the rest of Persons Living With Disability.

The 43 successful applicate will join long list of others who Senator have also secured job opportunities in public and private sectors not limited to Safaricom, L’Oréal, Barclays Bank and Carrefour.

The successful applicant couldn’t hide their joy since they previously faced a lot of challenges majorly caused by unemployment.

Senator Isaac Mwaura insisted that he wont relent in fighting for social inclusion of Persons Living With Disability in all spheres of life.
