Trailer that was abandoned in Dopota, Hwange along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls highway, 11 years ago has remained intact for all these years despite thieves trying their luck on it.
Though thieves have removed some parts of the trailer, such as the tyres, villagers say that whatever is left of it cannot be touched.
Anyone attempting to strip the trailer has been slapped by invisible hands, according to the villagers.
Villagers and traditional leaders have confirmed that the trailer has remained relatively undamaged because anyone who tampered with it was severely slapped by the invisible “guards.”
How The Trailer Was Abandoned
According to the villagers, a truck driver ferrying coal from Hwange to Harare left the truck in 2010 after it broke its chassis.
The owner had not bothered to tow it, despite the fact that the load was later offloaded into another truck.
According to Samuel Mugande, a villager, the mystical creatures guarding the trailer only attack those who attempt to steal.
THE MOST INTERESTING PART OF THESE ACCIDENTS IS THAT THE INDIVIDUALS TRYING TO STEAL FROM THE TRAILER ARE THE ONES WHO ARE MOSTLY ATTACKED. THE CULPRITS ARE PEOPLE, SPECIALLY TRUCK DRIVERS, WHO ARE OFTEN ATTACKED BY THESE THINGS WHEN THEY STOP AND TRY TO STEAL WHEELS.
Samuel Mugande, Villager
Tryness Ngwenya, the head of Dopota Village, confirmed the strange incidents, saying that the villagers were convinced that the truck was haunted.
The incidents are said to have started a few months after a villager who was left in charge of the trailer when it broke down alerted the owner of people attempting to steal the trailer’s tyres and boards.
The owner allegedly came to Dopota village and told her not to be concerned. That’s when reports of people being assaulted by unknown beings emerged.
Visitors from all over the world are flocking to this village to see this once-in-a-lifetime event.
